We successfully implemented a humanitarian project dedicated to Ukrainian refugees, where our volunteers provided essential aid, including toys, warm clothing, and bedding. This was a highly complex and deeply sensitive initiative, as the individuals we assisted were fleeing an active war zone. The vast majority were women and children, carrying the profound weight and suffering of a shattered life in just a single suitcase.
Non-governmental organizations demonstrated outstanding coordination throughout this massive relief effort. Currently, over 320,000 Ukrainians remain in Romania, either in transit to other destinations or settled here long-term.
